Rally in Tally: Success!
April 2, 1010, Tallahassee - Today, Save Our Shores! rallied supporters and anti-drilling activists at the Capitol to send a message to the state legislature and the Obama administration: No Drilling, No Way!
Among those turning out were local musician Thomas Lynch, who sang an acoustic version of his song "Protect Our Shores Forever" - You can watch a video of Thomas performing his song here.
Candidate for Florida House District 9 Representative Rick Minor also came out to give a speech. We would like to thank Rick for his work to protect Florida's environment and preserve our coastal heritage for future generations. You can learn more about his campaign at www.RickMinor.com
We would also like to thank all of our supporters who showed up to hold signs, make some noise, and speak with the press about protecting our shoreline from the ravages of oil and gas drilling. You guys are what makes this possible!
